In 2017, 21% of consumers said that Google reviews were one of the most important considerations when searching for a local business. Facebook has shown the greatest growth rate in reviews, with new reviews appearing 4x faster than restaurant review sites. Businesses can also improve their consumer relations by responding to negative reviews promptly, as 45% of consumers agree that they are more likely to visit a business if they’ve responded to a negative review.
