Writing as if you were having a conversation with your reader makes it more likely that you reader will both read what you have written and understand it as well. Many times writers use complicated or antiquated terms that people just don’t use in everyday conversations. Another problem is the use of complex sentences. A good trick is to keep your sentences simple and to express yourself as if you were talking to a friend.
