Look we all know working in customer service is not as easy as it sounds. No matter what you do, you just can’t make everyone happy. Luckily, there are some customer service phrases that may help. They can help you with that difficult first sentence, but always be sure to close a customer service call or email with something like “happy to help” or “happy to assist you.” If you cannot help the customer, instead of just saying “no,” try explaining that “as much as I’d love to help…” to ease the situation.
